Stable ID – the key to seamless address management

One of the most powerful features of Belmap’s is the Stable ID, a unique code assigned to each address that remains unchanged even if the building’s address is modified due to municipal mergers or a street renumbering.  

A stable ID ensures that: 

• Historical data remains intact – Telco customers, maintenance records, and service history stay linked to the correct location. 
• Data integrity is preserved – No new addresses are created unnecessarily, preventing duplicates and data loss.
